Resilient Telecommunications Plan
The Bedfordshire and Luton Local Resilience Forum has procedures in place to respond and deal with a loss of telecommunications systems across the county.
A communications failure could arise, for example, from anything including power or technical failures to accidents or computer glitches. No matter what the issue, Bedfordshire is well placed to maintain its emergency responses and critical activities. The response will involve the coordination of all partner agencies, each of which has a business continuity plan and has looked at how it would respond to such failures.
