Resilience mortuaries plan
The Resilience Mortuary Plan is designed to outline the necessary steps to establish, equip, operate and then decommission a temporary mortuary, wherever it is located, in the event of a mass fatality incident in Bedfordshire, and provides operational details of possible locations.
The plan details how the public will be kept informed as to what is happening to the deceased, and how and when they will be able to view the bodies of family and friends. It further advises on the support which will be available from responders, including police family liaison officers.
